Disneyland

So we had a really nice trip to Disneyland this past weekend. We decided just the week before to go so it was kind of impromptu. Cory worked TONS the first week of Feb. and then then was out of town the whole 2nd week so the kids were really upset. What a better cure than Disneyland. First of all, I HATE the drive down there. It's so bad. But we survived and pulled in about 9:30 Friday night. Early early we got up the next morning and set out on our adventure. Andi was so funny. On every ride she went on she covered her eyes. I guess she was scared of going into the dark on the Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Pinnochio rides. And you know, they would be scary to a 2 year old with all those flourescent, black light object jumping around and making loud noises. Even little Spencer who sat next to me on Pinnochio and Winnie the Pooh got scared. He wimpered and put his head down in my lap. How does a 13 month old know what scared is? Andi's scariest was of coarse pirates of the Carribbean and the Bug's Life 3-D Movie. The big girls loved the 'older' rides. Matterhorn, Splash Mountain, and Runaway train were the favorites. I'm realizing that pretty soon we'll have to split up into riding groups- one of the adults with the big girls on the big rides and one of us with the little kids, unless any of you adults would like to come with us next time and be our ride helper :) We were there all day Sunday, too. But it actually got really cold in the evening once the sun went down. So after dinner each night, at about 7, we started back for the shuttle and were asleep by 9. That was nice. We drove home Monday in deathly terrible traffic, again. So all in all it was so worth it and we had a great time. Make sure you all look at our pictures that I posted on the post right before this.
