Pulled Back (as opposed to pulled pork)

Is it normal to pull your back out so bad that you have to lay flat for 2 days in a row? And laying flat really hurts. And so does laying on your side. And forget about walking- I look like an 90 year old hunch-backed man. And it feels like you need a crane to pull you to an upright position. And every muscle in your upper back, shoulders, hips, and quads hurt just as much because they're all making up the difference for the job your lower back is supposed to do. And you tell your poor little kids to find their own after school snacks and they take advantage and grab out the Doritos. And you say, "awesome." And you hope and pray a maid will just walk in the house and do all the chores for you or those little animals from Snow White. But that won't happen so you do them anyway because what's worse... a nasty house or a hurt back. It's a toss up on that one.

Is that all normal?

I don't know if it's normal, but it sure happened a lot at our house growing up. Mom would always get a hurt back and walk around in a really weird position that was the only way it didn't hurt her more.

I would opt for the messy house...always looking for a reason not to clean :)

Poor Jessie! Isaac has done it a few times and I had to help HIM get out of bed when I was like 8 months pregnant. He does planks every day now to strengthen his back and he's been much better.
